James C. Davis
President
Since 2000, Jim Davis has built Chevron Energy Solutions (CES) into one of the world's leading energy efficiency and renewable energy services companies and the largest developer of solar power solutions for education facilities in North America. Named a Top 50 firm by Fast Company magazine in 2009, CES has developed hundreds of environmentally-friendly projects that are now saving institutions and businesses more than $1 billion in energy costs. Jim established CES as the first comprehensive energy services firm in the oil and gas industry, creating a unique business that has grown by 20 percent annually. In 2004 he was recognized for his achievements as Northern California winner of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Social Responsibility.
Before joining Chevron Energy Solutions, Jim served as senior vice president of Integrated Solutions for PG&E Energy Services, one of the foremost energy services companies in the nation. As sales executive and business strategist, he conceptualized, established and led PG&E Energy Services' integrated energy solution model for major commercial, industrial and institutional accounts. The success of this business led to its purchase by Chevron in 2000, creating Chevron Energy Solutions.
Earlier in his career, Jim served as senior vice president of Marketing and Sales at Duke/Louis Dreyfus, where he led the company's expansion into value-added services. He also managed global, national, and regional account teams for two natural gas marketing firms, providing integrated solutions to industrial accounts.
Jim holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in marketing from The Ohio State University.

John W. Mahoney
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, John Mahoney oversees business development and operations for Chevron Energy Solution's major business units.
John has more than 20 years of leadership experience encompassing many facets of the energy services field. He was President of Viron Energy Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of York International and CMS Energy, before the sale of Viron to Chevron Energy Solutions in 2003. While at Viron, John led the company through a significant growth period that brought it to a leadership position in the energy services industry.
Earlier in his career, John worked for Honeywell, where he held leadership positions in sales management, product marketing, strategic and business planning and general management. John holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of Minnesota.

David L. Stone
Senior Vice President
As Senior Vice President, David Stone is responsible for managing Chevron Energy Solutions' Commercial & Industrial business unit; overseeing its information technology, mergers & acquisitions, and business planning functions; and assisting Chevron facilities with energy efficiency and power reliability.
Dave brings more than 20 years of energy industry experience to his current position. He has served in a broad range of leadership functions, including strategic planning, finance, operations, project management and engineering, and was most recently Vice President of Business Development for Chevron Energy Solutions. Prior to joining Chevron Energy Solutions, Dave was Senior Planner in Chevron's Strategic Planning group. Earlier in his career, Dave worked in engineering, operations, and project management positions at Chevron's industrial facilities, where he led efforts to reduce energy costs and increase power reliability.
Dave holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.

John Dotson
Vice President & General Counsel
As Vice President & General Counsel, John oversees all legal affairs and the contracts function of Chevron Energy Solutions.
John has practiced general corporate law, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and project finance. In addition to practicing in major law firms, John held a number of positions at Raytheon, including Vice PresidentStrategic Transactions Counsel for Raytheon Systems Company, as well as Director, Corporate Development, and Assistant General Counsel for Raytheon Company. After Raytheon, he became the General Counsel & Chief Administrative Officer of Premium Power Corporation, a regenerative fuel cell company. John also served on the Board of Directors of Proteus Power Limited, a New Zealand developer of lithium ion ultracapacitors. Prior to being named Vice President & General Counsel of CES, John was in the Major Capital Projects Practice Group of Chevron International Exploration & Production Company.
John holds a bachelors degree in Economics from Harvard University (including doctoral level coursework in Capital Markets, Corporate Finance and Portfolio Theory at the Harvard Business School), as well as a law degree from the University of Southern California.
